HEBREW 201 is a four credit course at the upper intermediate level. The course covers reading, writing and conversation. Instruction is in Hebrew. Aspect of Israeli culture will be introduced and discussed.

1.   Brandeis Modern Hebrew – Ringvald, Porath, Peleg shorr & Hascal.

       We will use this textbook at the beginning of the semester

 

2.  Hebrew from Scratch – Part II, Hebrew University, Jerusalem, 2000

     We will use this textbook in the middle of the semester

Attendance:

 

Attendance in classroom is important – unexcused absences can result in the drop in your final grade by one letter (e.g. A can become a B if 3 classes are missed).

Classes are on Monday, Wednesday & Friday 11:00 – 11:50 at  SH  562
