(a) Weekly homework due Monday (i) review (class journal - written, one page, due before class) and (ii) preview (oral report in class) 25%
(b) Class participation: discussion, asking/answering questions 25%
(c) Midterm: take-home 25%
(d) Term paper: 5 pages due Wednesday12/1 5:00pm 25%
(e) Attendance: 2 unexcused absences automatically lower your grade by one letter
