Music is a part of every culture and songs are a wonderful way to learn a language. Not only do songs often provide an insight into the cultures associated with the language, their catchy tunes provide an additional mechanisim to learn vocabulary and understand grammar. In these webpages you will find lyrics of songs with links an "unscrambled" version of the lyrics, i.e. lyrics in a grammatically coherent word order more accesible by students at the elementary level. Not only do the "unscrambled" versions of the lyrics help students grasp grammatical concepts better, they demonstrate the difference between poetic and/or colloquial useage of the language versus what is considered to be grammatically correct useage. You will also find links to vocabulary, relevant grammatical explanations and exercises.
