or current affairs—a writer, musician, scientist, politician, etc. It is important that you select someone of interest to you, because you will be preparing a webpage-biography of this individual, with pictures and links to your (German!) sources of information. The webpage-biography will be the first phase of your semester project. You should have this part done by the end of Week 10.
The second phase will involve a recorded self-introduction and two interviews - one where you yourself conduct the interview, and the other where you (playing the part of your historical personage) are interviewed. This means that, for the first part, you will peruse the webpage-biographies prepared by your classmates and select a figure who you would like to interview. You'll need to prepare yourself for the interview by familiarizing yourself with the historical figure (the webpage-bio should accomplish this) and then formulating a set of appropriate questions. Show these to your instructor.
For the second interview, the tables will be turned - you will be playing the part of the historical figure that you researched and you will respond to the interviewer's questions in the first-person, as if you were in fact that person.
You need to record and submit the self-introduction and both interviews using Extemplate and Wimba.
