ExTemplate offers three exam types and five question types. Currently, the three types of exams available are: "exercise", "exam", and "placement tests". The "exam" function provides students with detailed technical instructions and a text about the honor code while the exercise function does not. They both offer various options in the grading system.The placement test function is a separate module which contains detailed technical instructions and honor code information, but has a different reporting/grading system. The five question types available are the following: multiple choice, fill in the blank, short answer (essay), matching, and speaking/recording.
ExTemplate also offers two separate administration tools for administrators and instructors.
