ExTemplate is a Learning Management System program specifically designed for language instruction. It allows instructors to create with ease a variety of interactive multimedia exercises and tests in many languages including those using non-Roman characters. ExTemplate features online record keeping accessible to both students and instructors, and supports the integration of all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing) in diverse formats (multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank, short answer, essay questions, and speaking). The latest version uses a course management system enabling administrators and instructors to easily manage courses, sections, and students accounts.

NEW: The availibility of Wimba Teacher Prompts now allows instructors to record oral questions using Wimba. Wimba teacher prompts are also available in the grading to comment on students' recordings. A new timer now enables instructors to select segments of audio or video recordings when using Real media files. In the grading, there is also a new comment box for essays which includes colors, bold, etc..
